Hello! I'm Darlene, the heart and soul behind Juicy Reads Magazine. A proud St. Louis native, I balance my life amidst the joyful chaos of being a mother and wife with the thrill of the written word.

 

My love affair with books spans genres and eras, but urban romance and fiction hold a special place on my bookshelf. What began as a simple hobby—devouring stories and sharing my thoughts—blossomed into a platform for undiscovered gems through insightful reviews and spirited discussions.

In 2021, inspired by the vibrant community around my bookstagram, She Reads Fire, I launched Juicy Reads Magazine. It embodies the spirit of the hashtag #JuicyReads, transforming it from a virtual space into pages that readers from every corner can turn and enjoy. The magazine became a canvas for vibrant interviews, sincere reviews, and all things bookish—a true celebration of literature.
